All the team at Springfields Day Nursery are committed to supporting our parents and children with ongoing support and information. Our parents hub provides a full range of all our policies and documents related to the wellbeing of your child along with additional facilities.
We are active online via our social media channels and endeavour to keep all parents posted on all our activities and events. In addition we provide a NEWS PAGE offering information and advise with regard to child development.
We follow the Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework which sets the standards for learning, development, and care for children from birth up to 5 years of age.
The principles which guide the work of our Early Years Professionals are grouped into four themes:
every child is a competent learner from birth who can be resilient, capable, confident and self assured.
Children learn to be strong and independent from a base of loving and secure relationships with parents and/or key person
The environment plays a key role in supporting and extending children’s development and learning
Children develop and learn in different ways and at different times; all areas of learning and development are equally important and inter-connected.
Here at Springfields Nursery we are always looking for ways to enhance the learning of your children.
We are subscribed to a popular maths learning programme to help encourage the recognition of number and make learning fun.
We offer opportunities for children to participate in weekly dance lessons provided by a qualified dance instructor and we also use yoga and the daily mile as part of our physical exercise programme.
